Takedown Policy

We respect the wishes of families. If you want a record removed, corrected, or anonymised, we will work with you to do that.

Who can request a takedown

Immediate family Spouse, child, parent, sibling, grandchild, or grandparent of the deceased.
Authorised representative Estate executor or legal guardian, with supporting documentation.
Original submitter Anyone can request deletion of their own personal data, even if the grave record itself remains public.

What we can do

Remove the entire record Hidden from public view and permanently deleted after 30 days.
Remove one person From a grave with multiple occupants.
Remove a photo Record stays, photo is deleted.
Correct wrong information Fixed in place, change logged internally.
Delete your personal data Your email, phone, and IP are removed from the submission record.

How to request

A contact channel for takedown requests will be published soon. When submitting, please include the following:

1Subject line: Takedown request — [name or plot number]
2The grave record URL or plot number.
3Your full name, relationship to the deceased, and a contact number.
4Proof of relationship (any document showing the relationship, or a statutory declaration if no document is available).
5What you want us to do (full removal, photo only, correction, etc.).

All documents you send are treated as confidential and deleted once the request is closed.

How long it takes

Acknowledgement Within 3 working days.
Decision and action Within 14 working days.
Urgent cases (harassment, legal order) Within 48 hours.

When we may decline

We may decline if we cannot verify your relationship to the deceased, or if the record is accurate and non-defamatory and the request is not from an immediate family member. In those cases we will explain why and offer an appeal path.
